AI consulting across Idaho

I'm based in Meridian, but the work I do doesn't depend on being down the street. Businesses in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Twin Falls, Coeur d'Alene and the towns between them face the same problem: tools they pay for and never had time to build out. I do that work for you, mostly remotely.

A big state with small offices

Idaho's service businesses are spread across very different regions: the Treasure Valley, the Magic Valley around Twin Falls, eastern Idaho from Pocatello to Idaho Falls, and the northern Panhandle around Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint. Most are small, and most have an office person or an owner doing work that software could take on.

Distance used to make hiring outside help impractical. Now the systems that matter, like field-service platforms, accounting, phones and email, all live in the cloud, so the work can be done well from anywhere with your team on a screen share.

How remote engagements work

We start with a 15-minute discovery call. If there's a clear first project, I map your workflow over a few video sessions with the people who do the work, then build and test inside your accounts with you watching. Documentation is written in plain language so your team can run it afterward.

For Treasure Valley clients, I also meet in person. Outside the valley, a site visit can be arranged when it genuinely helps, and we'll talk about it before it goes in the scope.

Time zones and seasons

Most of Idaho is on Mountain time, but the Panhandle north of the Salmon River runs on Pacific time. I schedule around that, so a Coeur d'Alene shop isn't asked to join a call at 7 a.m. its time.

Seasons vary by region as well. Eastern Idaho winters are long and hard, the Magic Valley has a big agricultural calendar, and northern Idaho has a strong summer tourism season. The first project should land before your busy stretch, not in the middle of it.

Rural service areas raise the stakes on every trip. When the next job is forty minutes down the highway, a no-show or a missing part is expensive. Confirmations the day before, a quick pre-visit checklist sent to the customer, and complete job notes for the tech are simple, inexpensive ways to protect a long drive.

Who it's for

Service companies such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and landscaping, plus professional offices and small firms whose day runs on calls, scheduling, paperwork and follow-up. If you're not sure whether your business fits, the discovery call is the place to find out. I'll say so if it doesn't.

FAQ

Idaho questions

Can you really do this without visiting?

For most projects, yes. The work happens inside your software, which I can reach with your permission over a screen share. If a visit would make a real difference, we'll plan it.

Do you work outside Idaho?

My focus is Idaho businesses. If you're just across the border, in eastern Oregon or Spokane for example, ask on the call.

What hours are you available?

Normal business hours on Mountain time, with flexibility for Pacific-time clients in northern Idaho.
